MOZART IN VIRTUAL REALITY! Music as Immersive Experience

Timothy Summers introduces an innovative 6-Dimensional Virtual Reality project that he has developed in Berlin with sound technology specialist Henrik Oppermann in collaboration with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and with initial support from the German government. Lucky participants, ages 12 and up, will be chosen at random after the presentation for a limited number of 15-minute slots to experience a movement from Mozart’s String Quintet No. 4 in G Minor in a whole new way! If you want to participate sometime between 6:45pm and 8:00pm, put your name in the fishbowl before you take a seat in the hall.
Virtual Reality Experience Sessions for Concert-goers
Monday, September 19, 10am - 5pm at Ix Art Park We have partnered with Ix Art Park to offer "Mozart in Virtual Reality" experiences for 48 lucky concert-goers ages 12 and up. These 15-minute audio-visual VR sessions will take place in the indoor performance space at Ix Art Park. Lucky winners will also have the chance to experience Ix Art Park's Looking Glass Immersive Art Experience for free around their scheduled VR session.

Concert-goers can enter to win a spot at all Festival concerts and winners will be drawn and contacted within 2 hours of the end of each Series concert.
