Born in Altea, (Alicante, Spain) in 1973, Ms. Gallego studied at the „Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris“ with Alain Marion, Raymond Guiot, Sophie Cherrier, Vincent Lucas, and concluded her studies with Jaime Martín, P. E. Davies, Pierre Laurent Aimard, and M. Bourgue.
She was warded with the „Premier Prix de la Ville de Paris“ in 1994, the First Prize at the ,Montserrat Alavedra’ chamber music competition in 1994,
„ Premier Prix a l’unanimité du jury du C.N.S.M. de Paris“ in 1997,
„First Prize and Public Prize“ in the ARD Competition in 2001 with the Miró Ensemble (wind quintet).
Ms. Gallego was member of the Spanish National Youth Orchestra (1992-1996) and the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchester (1997-2001).
She was Principal Flute of the „ Oquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife“ from 1997 until 1999, and the „Orquesta sinfónica de Galicia“ from 2001 until 2002.
She has also performed with Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orchestra, the Hessischer Rundfunk Frankfurt,
Bayerischer Rundfunk in München, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
In chamber music she has worked with musicians such as Renaud Capuçon, Diemut Poppen, Frank Braley, Radovan Vladkovic, Gordan Nikolic,
Jean M. Trotereau, Gerard Caussé, and David Quiggle, among many others, and as a soloist Júlia has performed with „ Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife“, „Orquestra de les Arts“, „ Orquesta Ciudad de Granada“, „Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia“, „ Orquestra de Cadaqués“, „Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León“.
She currently performs with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra (D.Harding), Orquestra de Cadaqués (G. Noseda), Luzern Festival Orchestra (C. Abbado) and BandArt (G. Nikolic). |
